Novak: Russia can maintain oil output, raise exports
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- Russia can maintain its oil production and exports, and may even increase sales abroad, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview to NTV news channel late on Thursday on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
“We think that we have the possibility to maintain production and maintain exports, and we may even raise exports as we may reduce the loading of our oil refineries,” he said.
Novak also said that discounts to the price of Russia’s Urals export blend were temporary, and the price would grow after the logistics chains have been fixed.
